Coral details

The work recounts the eternal conflict between depth and rebirth, between silence and life, between the mystery of the abyss and the fragility—but also the indomitable strength—of coral, a symbol of beauty, endurance, and time. By Lady Hide

Perseo

Perseus is a sculptural work created entirely by hand in Tuscany, using exclusively recycled materials. Metals, fragments, and forgotten objects are stripped of their original function and recomposed into a contemporary mythological figure, where discarded matter becomes an expressive language.

The Perseus depicted here does not celebrate heroic victory in the classical sense, but transformation: the act of confronting what has been excluded, chaotic, or deemed useless, and converting it into form, balance, and meaning. The hero is not born pure, but is built through what he gathers and masters.

The work reflects on the relationship between man, time, and responsibility, suggesting that value lies not in the perfection of matter, but in the vision and hand that guides it.

Perseus thus becomes a symbol of rebirth, awareness, and creative power: an ancient myth reinterpreted as an ethical and contemporary gesture
